The Seahawks have two additional draft picks after the league announced compensatory selections on Monday.

Seattle was awarded a pair of seventh-round picks, Nos. 241 and 242 overall. Those are the 35th and 36th selections in the seventh round.

The Seahawks were one of 16 teams to receive compensatory picks, which are disbursed based on the number and value of free agents a team loses the previous offseason compared to those it signs. In the Seahawks’ case, they saw Atari Bigby, John Carlson, David Hawthorne and Charlie Whitehurst leave in free agency. The NFL determined those losses outweighed the free-agent additions of Matt Flynn and Jason Jones.

The Seahawks now have 10 selections, including four in the seventh round. Teams cannot trade compensatory picks.
