Richard Sherman’s recent comments about Jim Harbaugh were innocuous compared to the verbal assault he launched on Skip Bayless back in March. They were benevolent compared to what a few Seahawks teammates recently said they’d do if they were lined up across from the 49ers’ head coach.
But Sherman’s revelation to the NFL Network earlier this week that he doesn’t have a relationship with Harbaugh is noteworthy considering Sherman played for Harbaugh at Stanford.
“I don’t have a relationship with him,” Sherman said. “I don’t try to go any route with him. I don’t deal with him; he’s not my coach. So I deal with what is going on in Seattle and I keep it there.”
Bob Stelton and Dave Grosby discuss Sherman’s comments in the video below, saying his opinion of Harbaugh may be rooted in something other than the Seahawks-49ers rivalry.
