Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has been caught in a pose made famous by one of his rivals.
Wilson posted a picture to Twitter of himself kissing his bicep, a move San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick does after he scores a touchdown.
The ‘Kaepernicking’ was evidently in reference to a touchdown on Kaepernick while the two were filming a commercial for new video game release Madden 25.
“And yes that was after a TD throw on kaepernick7 during our #madden25 commercial!” Wilson tweeted.
Kaepernick got one back on Wilson Wednesday night at the ESPY awards. Wilson was nominated for “Best Breakthrough Athlete” but ultimately lost the fan vote to Kaepernick.
But what happens in the duo’s first matchup on the field is what really matters to fans. The Seahawks will be facing the 49ers in the Seattle home opener Sept. 15.
