RENTON – Cornerback Brandon Browner remained out of practice on Thursday for the Seahawks, which is not a positive sign as it relates to his availability for Sunday’s game against San Francisco.
Browner suffered the hamstring injury last week and missed the season opener. He has been running this week, and coach Pete Carroll said he hoped Browner would be able to practice Thursday.
In terms of other practice news: Defensive end Cliff Avril practiced without limitation and Carroll has said he’s expected to play.
Chris Clemons also practiced fully, but Carroll has given no indication that he will play on Sunday, saying only that Clemons would practice this week.
Brandon Mebane returned to practice after sitting out Wednesday’s workout while fellow defensive tackle Tony McDaniel sat out practice with a sore groin.
