A by-the-numbers look at Seattle’s 2016 schedule:
22 – Years since anyone has played a regular-season game in Los Angeles. The Seahawks get the first date, playing the Rams in Week 2 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The setting will be familiar for coach Pete Carroll since that’s where USC played its home games in his nine seasons at the school from 2001 to 2009.
15 – Prime-time games Seattle has won compared to just three losses since Carroll became coach in 2010.

12 – Years since Seattle played at New England. The Seahawks face the Patriots on Sunday night in Week 10, which will be Seattle’s first game in Foxborough, Mass. since 2004.
11 – Week 1 road games the Seahawks have played going back to 2000. When Seattle hosts Miami in Week 1, it will be only the sixth time in 17 seasons that the Seahawks have begun the season at home.
10 – Consecutive victories by Seattle when playing on Monday night. Seattle hosts Buffalo on Monday night in Week 9. The Seahawks haven’t lost a Monday night game since Dec. 6, 2004 when the Cowboys won 43-39 in Seattle.
8 – Times Seattle will have faced Carolina in seven seasons if you include the playoffs. The Seahawks host the Panthers on Sunday night in Week 13, marking the fifth straight year in which they’ve met in the regular season.
7 – Consecutive home-openers the Seahawks have won. Seattle has not lost its first home game in any season since 2008, when the 49ers beat the Seahawks 33-30 in Week 2.
6 – Times in the past seven years that Seattle has won its home opener by 20 or more points.
5 – Prime-time games Seattle is scheduled to play, matching the most in franchise history. Seattle was scheduled to play five prime-time games last season but had a Week 14 game in Baltimore flexed from Sunday night football.
4 – Opponents on Seattle’s schedule that made the playoffs last season. None of the Seahawks’ first five opponents are coming off a postseason berth.
3 – Prime-time losses Seattle has suffered since Carroll became coach in 2010. Two of those losses occurred on the road. Seattle plays at Arizona on Sunday night in Week 7 and at New England on Sunday night in Week 10.
2 – Games Seattle will play that start at 10 a.m. PST: at the New York Jets in Week 4 and at New Orleans in Week 8. That’s a scheduling break since the Seahawks could have had as many as five 10 a.m. starts.
1 – Times Seattle has lost at home in prime-time under Carroll. The Seahawks’ 39-32 loss to Arizona on Sunday night in Week 10 last year was their first prime-time loss at home since 2007.
