It was Russell Wilson’s athleticism that stood out most during his second touchdown pass Sunday, the one in which he pirouetted to shake a defender before hitting Zach Miller in the end zone.
But as Brock Huard explains in the latest “Chalk Talk” video, Wilson’s awareness was another key to the play.
The situation: First-and-goal from Jacksonville’s 4-yard line with Seattle leading 7-0 at the start of the second quarter.
The play: Wilson faked an end-around handoff, rolled to his right and spun around after a pump fake before finding Miller wide open in the front corner of the end zone.
