Seahawks defensive end Red Bryant and center Max Unger will both miss Sunday’s game against Atlanta because of concussions that kept that out of practice this week.
“We’re going to take care of them this week and have them ready for next week, hopefully,” coach Pete Carroll told reporters Friday.
Lemuel Jeanpierre will make his third start of the season at center, and while Carroll didn’t reveal who would start in place of Bryant, defensive coordinator Dan Quinn said earlier in the week that it would be either Michael Bennett or Tony McDaniel.
Also ruled out for Sunday’s game are defensive tackle Jordan Hill (biceps) and fullback Derrick Coleman (hamstring).
Running back Marshawn Lynch, defensive end Chris Clemons and strong safety Kam Chancellor are all listed as probable after practicing without limitation on Friday. Safety Jeron Johnson, who has only appeared in four games this season because of a hamstring injury, is listed as questionable.
Right tackle Breno Giacomini is listed as doubtful after he was limited in practice throughout the week.
