Russell Wilson joined some rare company when the Seahawks beat Atlanta on Sunday, and Seattle’s quarterback now finds himself two wins shy of an NFL record.

According to ESPN Stats & Information, Wilson is now one of five starting quarterbacks in the Super Bowl Era to win at least 20 games in his first two NFL seasons. Since 1966, only Ben Roethlisberger (22), Dan Marino (21), Matt Ryan (20) and Joe Flacco (20) have reached that total.

That record takes into account only regular-season games, of which Wilson and the Seahawks have six remaining. Four of them are at CenturyLink Field, where the Seahawks haven’t lost since 2011. Combine that with the fact that Seattle is coming off what may have been its best performance of the season and will get some of its injured starters back as soon as this week, Wilson has an excellent chance to claim the record.

More notes from ESPN Stats & Information:

• Seattle’s 490 yards of offense against Atlanta was a season high.

• Marshawn Lynch gained 70 of his 145 rushing yards against Atlanta after contact, something he had done only twice before with the Seahawks. He entered the game averaging 35.4 rushing yards after contact this season.

• Seattle is 9-1 for the first time in franchise history.
