Seattle’s running game took a step in the right direction in the regular-season finale as Marshawn Lynch rushed for 97 yards against St. Louis, nearly ending a six-game stretch in which he didn’t finish with triple digits.
Now comes a divisional-round matchup with the Saints, against whom Lynch rushed for 45 yards on 16 carries when the teams met last month. Fourteen of those 45 yards came on a second-quarter play that is the subject of this week’s edition of “Chalk Talk”.
In the video above, Brock Huard uses that play to show how some key personnel changes on both teams could help the Seahawks rediscover their running game in Saturday’s rematch with New Orleans.
You can watch the play at the 1:36 mark of this video.
