The Seahawks have signed nine players to futures contracts, including third-string quarterback B.J. Daniels.
The team announced the deals Thursday. Also also signed were cornerback Akeem Auguste, wide receivers Phil Bates and Arceto Clark, defensive tackles Michael Brooks, D’Anthony Smith and Dewayne Cherrington, tight end Cooper Helfet and guard Jared Smith.
Daniels spent part of the season on Seattle’s 53-man roster and finished in on the practice squad. He was never active for a game.
