Report: Lynch plans to end holdout, report to Seahawks camp

Jul 31, 2014, 12:18 PM | Updated: 12:30 pm

Marshawn Lynch’s holdout is reportedly coming to an end.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter via his verified Twitter account, the Seahawks running back is planning to end his holdout – which reached its eighth day Thursday – and is expected to report to training camp within the next 24 hours.

Per Schefter, Lynch will not receive a new deal from Seattle, but the team is expected to add some undisclosed “financial concessions” to his current deal.

By skipping the first eight days of training camp, Lynch subject himself to nearly $500,000 in fines, which the team is not obligated to impose.

Coach Pete Carroll is expected to address the media shortly.
